LGBTQ+ Vegan Influencers You Should Follow For Pride Month (And Every Month!)

In honor of Pride month, we wanted to share some vegan acttivists who are making huge strides in the vegan world. If you are looking to begin your vegan journey or want some inspiring accounts to follow that are constantaly sharing high-vibration vegan and LGBTQ+ content, follow these amazing humans!

1. Milo Runkle

Founder of Mercy for Animals, the worlds largest farm animals protection and vegan advocacy organization. A vegan for over 21 years, Milo advocates to end factory farming and animal exploitation.

2. Pattrice Jones

Co-founder of LGBTQ+ run Vine Sanctuary in Springfield, VT, Jones cares for over 700 animals that have been saved from traditional farms. She speaks about speicisim and the intersection with racism, homophobia and transphobia and wrote the book “Aftershock: Confronting Trauma in a Violent World: A Guide For Activists and Their Allies

3. Sean O’Callaghan

Founder of popular vegan blog Fat Gay Vegan, Sean uses his platform to promote vegan events and to address all sorts of of ablesim both in and out of the vegan community.

He is the author of the book “Fat Gay Vegan: Eat, Drink, and Live Like You Give A Shit”

4. Margaret Robinson

Margaret Robinson is an Indigenous bi-sexual Two-Spirit scholar who is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Dalhousise University in Halifax Nova Scotia. She works with community support organizations including the Risk & Resilience Project and the Toronto Bisexual Network.

5. Kate Flowers

Influencer Kate Flowers is an influencer and vegan activst. Growing up with a gay father taught her to love and accept all beings from a young age.

Her book, Freedom Food is a 21-day vegan meal plan that will guide you in a whole food diet.

6. Eddie Garza

Eddie Garza is a plant-based chef, cookbook author, and host of “Global Bites with Eddie Garza” on Dr. Oz. He is a major lifestyle leader in the Latinx community and is pushing for food systems reform in those communities. He is also Senior Manager of Food & Nutrition for the Humane Society of the United States.
